This effect is further enhanced when paired with a shell-shaped handle. KONTEXT also offers versatile surface design options. In addition to veneer and lacquer, you can also paint or wallpaper the door to match the wall’s design. But KONTEXT isn’t just stylish—it’s also easy to maintain. After all, dust can’t settle on a door without a frame.

How are door surfaces protected?
DANA doors are either painted or oiled. In addition to protecting and sealing the surface, the wide range of colors available also opens up many design possibilities.
What should you keep in mind when cleaning?
The type of cleaning—and, more importantly, the appropriate cleaning product—depends on the surface.
Lacquered doors should only be wiped with a soft cloth dampened with water. Abrasive or chemical cleaning products must be avoided at all costs!
For oiled doors, a damp, soft cloth is sufficient for normal cleaning. For proper maintenance, it is best to use the DANA Oil Care Set. The same rule applies here: DO NOT use abrasive or chemical cleaners!
