DANA DOORS: OUR MILESTONES

1973

DANubius Holzplattenwerke and Admont Abbey establish DANA

1975

Production of the first door panel at the new factory in Spital am Pyhrn. With 70 employees, Austria’s first industrial production of prefabricated doors is now underway.

1978 – 1982

DANA has achieved a successful rise with a production volume that now stands at 200,000 doors

1984

Definition of Quality and Individuality as a Philosophy for the Future

2000

Construction of the 6,300-square-meter frame hall – a strategic investment to enable single-unit production

2001

Acquisition of the Pöckstein plant (Carinthia) for specialized solutions

2007

Merger with JELD-WEN:
DANA changes its name to JELD-WEN Türen GmbH
The DANA brand will be positioned as a premium brand within the group

2007

The groundwork is being laid for “just-in-time” – enabling delivery times of 5 to 15 days

2017

JELD-WEN Restructuring at the Central European Level with a Focus on the Brand – Status of the DANA brand is further strengthened

2019

Expansion of B2B services through pre-assembled systems such as Flatfix

2020

Installation of the state-of-the-art exhaust and filtration system to ensure excellent air quality at the plant

2021

Opening of the DANA Showroom in Graz
There are now 5 showrooms across Austria: Vienna, Linz, Spital, Pöckstein, and Graz

2024

Launch of the partnership between DANA and DOMOFERM
Commissioning of the photovoltaic system
