Project: Private Chalet – Conthey | Switzerland

Located in the historic town of Conthey, Mr. M. fulfilled a long-cherished dream by renovating his chalet. To do justice to the building’s traditional ambiance, he promptly brought in specialists for the preliminary and detailed planning. Clear ideas and preferences shaped the planning process from the very beginning. Consequently, the decision on the various design elements—above all, the DANA doors—was made quickly.

Modern Spirit of the Times

As a rural house type predominantly found in the Alpine region, tradition and naturalness are characteristic of the interior design style in chalets. These stylistic elements are also beautifully showcased in Mr. M.’s home. In particular, the interior doors from the STRUKTURA series create a natural sense of space. Skillfully combined with simple, elegant furnishings, the chalet features a rustic-modern living concept that is anything but ordinary.
