From the very beginning of the construction of Mr. K.’s house, one thing was clear: black was to be the dominant color, as Mr. K. is particularly fascinated by this color. Mr. K. places great importance on the highest quality and an appealing design. For this reason, he chose DANA Doors, based on a recommendation from his parents, who are themselves long-time and enthusiastic customers of the company.

Mr. K.’s next stop was the showroom, where he selected the STRUKTURA model with its slightly more rustic wood finish and black hardware. There, Mr. K. also discovered the innovative REVERSO system, which won him over immediately. It gives his long hallway a beautiful, linear appearance because the door panels and frames form a single plane. Another advantage is that the open door panels don’t get in the way in the narrow hallway, since they swing inward into the rooms.

In addition to the solid-core doors, Mr. K. wanted an all-glass door between the hallway and the living-dining area—but not just any door. The entryway element, featuring float glass, a black frame, and black hardware in a framed design, is definitely an eye-catcher. This door is not only an elegant design solution but also provides the homeowner with a welcoming, light-filled atmosphere. In addition, the element creates a smooth transition between the hallway and the living-dining area.
