Project: TrIIIple Tower – Vienna | Austria

Under the name “TrIIIple,” three towers—each over 100 meters tall—have been built along Vienna’s Danube Canal, promising future residents a new dimension of living. While Towers 1 and 2 are dedicated exclusively to privately financed housing, Tower 3 will feature approximately 670 micro-apartments for students and young professionals. This major project, which provides the capital city with much-needed housing, also stands out thanks to its exceptional location directly on the Danube Canal. Numerous additional amenities—such as a rooftop pool, concierge service, a lounge with a library, an event kitchen, and a barbecue lounge—round out the living experience.

1,000 doors for security and quality of life.

For the apartment entry doors of the TrIIIple project, innovations from two Austrian door experts at JELD-WEN were combined: State-of-the-art, burglar-resistant steel frames from DOMOFERM form the foundation for DANA’s security doors.

For the entry doors in Towers 1 and 2, the DANA Dominant 3 model was selected, featuring burglary resistance class 2, multi-point locking, hinge security, and an automatic door closer for fire emergencies. The Dominant 3’s double rebate provides a second sealing layer, ensuring higher levels of sound insulation and burglary protection. In addition, EUROBA interior doors in the color RAL 9016 were installed in both towers. These were selected in both standard and sliding door configurations. In Tower 3, however, the EUROBA interior doors feature a 35dB sound insulation insert in the gray shade RAL 0077. The doors were installed by DANA’s specialist partner, r&r Objekttischlerei.
