DANA sets new standards in security even for residential entrance doors. The burglar-resistant construction is tailored to the respective resistance class (RC). DANA doors exceed the basic protection requirements as standard and start at Resistance Class 2.

All DANA apartment entrance doors are tested for their burglary-resistant properties by a government-recognized body. The EH label is the official confirmation of this and a prerequisite for subsidies or insurance discounts. Your DANA partner will be happy to request it for you if needed.

With up to 12 locking points, DANA apartment entrance doors play it safe. We can implement the following measures to protect your personal space:

• Fire protection – reinforced door panel with special insert for WK 3 (optional)

Cleverly installed—and difficult to break into.

Whether for new construction or renovation, DANA’s well-designed security concept has proven its worth. Essentially, it consists of a system comprising a door frame and a functional door. This system allows for the use of wood or steel door frames, as well as a subframe or frame assembly.

Modern security standards and attractive design.

The door frame or frame assembly is secured to the masonry with additional screws. This measure makes a break-in all the more difficult without compromising the door’s appearance.

Innovative DANA solution with a wooden door frame.

The system developed by DANA equally meets the highest standards for both security and aesthetics. This allows for the installation of burglar-resistant doors in resistance class WK 3 (RC 3) with metal-reinforced, homey wooden door frames instead of traditional steel door frames.

FIRST CLASS WITH CLIMATE CLASS C.

Areas with extreme climatic conditions require door designs that can withstand them. Temperature differences between stairwells or hallways and the interior living areas can reach up to 20°C—for example, in apartment entrance doors, doors leading to enclosed pergolas, attics, or basements. This can cause humidity levels to fluctuate significantly.

DANA apartment entrance doors meet Climate Class C standards and can compensate for these fluctuations. The door’s function is not impaired; it does not warp and remains beautiful over time.

Upon request, the doors can be finished with different designs on the inside and outside. For variants featuring different wood species or surface finishes, different veneer patterns (longitudinal/transverse) on each side, or single-sided decorative grooves/pilaster strips, please note that we assume no liability for door warping.

For glass inserts, only safety glass is used, in accordance with the selected burglary resistance rating, with or without fire protection. There’s one key you’re sure to always have with you: your finger. Take advantage of the intelligent DANA Fingerprint System—because the software adapts over time. It recognizes growing children’s fingers as well as changes in habits. When the door closes, it locks automatically.

If you choose this system, you’ll of course still be able to open and lock your door with a key.
