Your safety is our top priority. That’s why at DANA, we don’t just meet European safety and quality standards—we exceed them in many areas. Identified by the CE mark in the door rebate, you can rely on genuine DANA quality even for exterior doors.

Our side entrance and pergola doors feature a sophisticated locking system. With exceptional thermal insulation, sound insulation up to 43 dB, and certified fire and smoke protection in our ZENSUR model, they have even more to offer. Optional sound insulation of up to 45 dB is also available.

We can implement the following measures to protect your personal space:

• 3 sturdy hinges – visually unobtrusive, they keep the door firmly attached to the frame
• 3 additional hinge locks – also lock securely to the frame
• Fire protection – while maintaining an attractive appearance (optional)
• Reinforced door panel – 69 mm thick for protection against break-ins
• Door peephole – see who’s coming; with or without a nameplate (optional)
• Additional lock – with a security bar (optional)
• Security hardware & reinforced strike plate – so burglary tools have no point of entry
• Lock with 6-point locking system – makes prying the door open virtually impossible

The DANA Fingerprint System.

There’s one key you’re sure to always have with you: your finger. Take advantage of the intelligent DANA Fingerprint System—because the software learns over time. It recognizes growing children’s fingers as well as changes in habits. When the door closes, it locks automatically.

If you choose this system, you’ll of course still have the option to open and lock your door with a key as well.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Maximum security: The exterior door remains locked at all times
• Losing, forgetting, or being locked out are a thing of the past
• Tampering is not possible
• Short-circuiting is not possible
• Up to 250 authorized users can be stored
• Only specific characteristics of the finger are captured and converted into a binary code. The fingerprint itself is not stored
• You can add authorized users yourself (with or without a PC)

Better sound insulation & fewer drafts.

When the door closes, our proven drop-down seal lowers automatically. It provides noticeably greater comfort by effectively reducing noise and drafts. Available as an option for our ALLIANZ and ZENSUR models.

Cast resin edge.

Extremely durable, moisture-resistant, and heat-resistant: The cast resin edge is approximately 4 mm thick and runs along the entire edge of the door. It creates a seamless connection between the door panel and the edge, resulting in a solid, impact-resistant surface. Also available in two colors for different interior and exterior door sides.

Stylish details.

The trend toward straight lines is also reflected in designs featuring glass cutouts. For example, stainless steel-look glass strips are finished to be nearly flush with the surface. This creates a clean, elegant overall look.

Glass cutouts, transoms, or side panels are always a successful solution and give even side entrance doors that certain something. All glazing options are available in float and satin-finished glass as 3-pane safety glass. Exclusively at DANA, also available up to resistance class 3 (WK3) upon request.
